Nice and cozy room. Had a great stay
Our bathroom flooded overnight and the employee at the desk in the morning, a middle aged man, was sympathetic at best. I had ask him twice for any kind of refund. He begrudgingly handed over a 10. Their breakfast was limited to a few store bought donut holes and some English muffins.
Budget Host Inn lives up to its name. They have everything you need, but nothing you want. We had to bring our own DVD player and booze in order to watch It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 1. The next day was a task waking up after having so much Canadian whiskey, but it was a nice gesture that Budget Host Inn provide us with donuts, toast, and small styrofoam cups of OJ. That alone leaves me anticipating a safe return.
We found this to be a nice place to stay but with good location comes the traffic noise. For the price and the comfortable bed, we will return.
Otherwise the room was nice, clean and well kept for the price. The lady at the desk the night before was very kind.
This is an option if you want a cheap/budget room that is also clean. Some of the rooms get a good bit of noise with a busy gas station right in the front (and hence that is the view from one of the windows from a significant majority of the rooms) and a road on one side. The so called continental breakfast was not quite appealing so we skipped (but no complains as this is truly a budget motel). If you are willing spend $10-20 more, consider one of the brand name places around.
