They are very nice to work with. Dr. Frankel allows mom to hold a young child while he works on teeth, it totally put my child at ease!
He is awesome! After a horrible experience with a pediatric dentist in Hagerstown MD (1 hr from home), a friend recommended Dr. Frankel. It is 1h45min from home but I don't care. His staff is wonderful and my son gets excellent care with almost no tears. Filling sand extractions are done efficiently with very limited trauma to the child.
Don't take your child here. The staff is super careless and confused and the doctor could care less about your child. They completely wasted our time. We waited a while month for the appointment just to have them reschedule for another day because the doctor didn't feel like working at 1pm and ran for lunch and that's what basically what we were told. It's our lunch time you'll have to reschedule. You got to be kidding me. Don't waste your time!
The staff is beyond amazing! My son was only 4 when we started going to see them so of course he was scared. After seeing how great the set up of the office is, how wonderful the staff is, and how much fun it was, he can't wait to go back! 2 years later and we are still going! This place is the best and only dentist my son will see! I even drive an hour just to get there!
I used to go there because he was the only in my area.. and only the insurance would cover. I have terrible anxiety about my teeth and he really isn't the most patient guy.. I hate writing negative reviews because this isn't personal.. I just.. As a kid i needed someone to go slow and be nice about it. His staff workers were always really nice and kind. Though his assistant was really the same way, impatient and somewhat snarky.. After my first filling I stopped.. Didn't go the best. Anyway I hope things have changed and wish him the best.. I hate writing anything negative.
