The technicians helped me with my 14 years F350 diesel. Two injectors went out along with the fuel injection control module they know what they’re doig and replace both at the same time, Thanks Tom. I didn't need to take the time to fight it and find the problems.

I am a returning customer to Tri Star. I had a very good experience with my last purchase so this was my first stop to view and gets quotes for another new vehicle. I did purchase a new vehicle which I am very pleased with minus two parts that were broke the day of pickup and are on order now. The day I came to pick up my vehicle a short block of instructions to the operations of the vehicle was given . My phone was paired to uconnect for hands free calling and was told that I could get my text messages also which at that time I did not get instructed on. When I got home I was unable to use this option and when I had my car serviced three weeks later for the broken parts was told by the tech that iphones could not be used for receiving text messages. However, when I got home I did some research on the computer and found out you could. I still haven't figured it out on my own but as my son is an IT tech I'm quite sure he can do it for me. I just wondered if you are going to be selling vehicles shouldn't you be knowing the ins and outs about them to help the customer? The very last statement the dealer made when we left the day of pickup was that there was a referral program. If I referred some one and they bought a car that I would get $100.00 and that person would get $100.00. Well, it so happened that my daughter an her husband was in need of a new vehicle and seeing that I got a good deal with my jeep they went and took a look. They did end up getting a new jeep also. After three weeks no referral money was send to us so on the day of my appointment I asked the manager about that. I have never been so humiliated. He stated that he did have a check for me which I opened sometime after and found out it was only for $50.00. And when I asked about my daughter and husband he stated sharply, " We do not pay for people to buy vehicles." My daughter stated to me that the dealer told them that would get a voucher for Tailgatez restaurant and could I please ask about that. The manager did state that he could help me with that and gave me one for them. They did receive it and they are most appreciative. I remember the last time I bought a vehicle I got a voucher for a restaurant for customer appreciation. This time I did not and was wondering why. If a company is offering customer appreciation vouchers and referral bonuses why do you have to go in and beg for it and be humiliated. Is it so that people will not come back an ask? I know my daughter and her husband did not feel comfortable asking.
